I am torn when I nurse older people in my Rehab ward that are further down the track than my Dad is. One minute I want to turn away because I cant bear to see the reality that will some day be his, then in stronger moments I try to look after these people with the dignity I hope my Dad will be treated with when he is in their shoes. You write so beautifully about your work. The people you care for are very lucky indeed.Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16904240359698373279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2267562007448923077.post-17601930778774816472009-04-29T17:22:00.000-05:002009-04-29T17:22:00.000-05:00This post was too beautiful for words. Guess we were high maintenance and all, with the diaper changes, 2 hour feedings, crying in the middle of the night, I digress.

This is so beautiful! My grandma had dementia and instead of trying to fight her when she was wrong, we'd just go with it and she was so much happier.twondrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13833003369303408718noreply@blogger.com
